Patro (पात्रो) means "calendar" in Nepali, and refers specifically to the Bikram Sambat calendar used officially throughout Nepal. Unlike the Gregorian calendar most of the world uses, the Nepali Patro tracks important local festivals, holidays, and auspicious dates alongside the standard day-by-day structure, and its months don't align with English calendar months.
